Staff of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, embedded with a turquoise glintstone.

Only a recognized sorcerer is permitted to wield this staff.

Acquisition

Guaranteed drop: Liurnia of the Lakes

• Dropped by Thops, either by killing him in the Church of Irith or upon finishing his questline, inside the Academy of Raya Lucaria just before the Schoolhouse Classroom site of grace.

Drop: Liurnia of the Lakes/Caelid/Mt. Gelmir

• 2% drop chance from Glintstone Sorcerers (excluding the Lazuli variant).
  • These Sorcerers are common enemies throughout Academy of Raya Lucaria, with 7 in particular being found on the way to the Red Wolf of Radagon from the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace, along with a Lazuli Sorcerer and a Living Jar Warrior.
  • Two Sorcerers can be found just next to the Primeval Sorcerer Azur Site of Grace, just north of Hermit Village.
  • Several more can be found throughout Academy Crystal Cave and Sellia Hideaway.

Notes

• The strongest pure-Intelligence staff without an increased FP cost when Intelligence is between 41 and 68.
  • Demi-Human Queen's Staff is strongest from 10 to 41 Intelligence while Carian Regal Scepter is strongest from 68 to 99 Intelligence.
• At maximum upgrade level it has 190 Sorcery Scaling at 28 Intelligence (minimum requirement) and 345 Sorcery Scaling at 80 Intelligence.
  • Has 233 Sorcery Scaling at 40 Intelligence, 268 Scaling at 50 Intelligence, 304 Scaling at 60 Intelligence, and 325 Scaling at 70 Intelligence.
