Ailment Talisman is a talisman in Shadow of the Erdtree.

A talisman depicting a soul taken by sickness.

When certain ailments are triggered, this talisman grants resistance to the same ailment.

When the weak were infected with the dreaded fly sickness, they perished well before the metamorphosis could take hold. Oddly, those who cared for the infected and made certain they were given a proper burial were never afflicted themselves.

Acquisition

• Ailment Talisman is found in the Gravesite Plain at the Abandoned Ailing Village. It is located on a corpse at the edge of an unfinished wooden bridge.

Notes

• Ailment Talisman provides +350 resistance to a specific status effect after being afflicted.
  • Poison / Scarlet Rot resistance lasts for 120 seconds.
  • Frostbite / Hemorrhage resistance lasts for 45 seconds.
  • Sleep / Madness resistance last for 30 seconds.
  • Death Blight is not affected, as its onset kills the player.
• The buildup or duration of the triggering ailment is immediately reduced by a certain amount.

Trivia

• Prior to Update 1.13, the buildup of a status effect was not reduced when the Ailment Talisman was triggered.
