Should the prayerbook be given to one of them and then have that instructor die before purchasing this Incantation, then the player can still purchase it from the Twin Maiden Husks for the same price, after giving them the respective tutor's Bell Bearing.
WARNING: Should both Corhyn and Miriel die before giving either of them the prayerbook then this incantation becomes unavailable for that character until a new Journey is started.
Effect
Calls on a red, crackling spear from above that is then slammed into the ground, hitting with Lightning Attack Power equal to 360% of Incantation Scaling in a small 0.2 meter radius, and creating a shockwave with a 3 meter radius that hits with Lightning Attack Power equal to 285% of Incantation Scaling.
From the point of impact, waves of red lightning are sent out directly ahead and behind, and to the left and right of the caster with Lightning Attack Power equal to 122% of Incantation Scaling in a 2 meter radius from the center of each wave.
Deals 17 Stance damage on a direct or shockwave hit and 5 Stance damage on a wave hit.
Attack Power is boosted by 15% per Gravel Stone Seal held in an active hand (2 max).
Attack Power is boosted by 2% per piece of the Death Knight Set that is being worn.
The "direct" hit and the initial area attack cannot hit the same target, though the smaller, weakest waves can hit an enemy that has already been hit if they are either quick or large enough to also be where those are.
The "spear" is actually flung downwards, meaning it can be used to hit the ground beneath a cliff if the caster is standing on its edge.
Like other red lightning incantations, this spell doesn't actually make the caster create a bolt of lightning in the hand, instead summoning the bolt from somewhere above them.
Patch 1.07 decreased FP consumption and increased stamina attack power against guarded enemies.
Only the direct hit had its Stamina Attack Power increased against guarding enemies, from 100 to 140.
Separate Stamina Attack Power values were added for guarding players: for a direct hit, it was increased from 140 to 175; for a near hit, it was increased from 100 to 125; and for a far away hit, it was increased from 60 to 75.
Patch 1.04 included an undocumented change which reduced the FP cost of this incantation.
