Antspur Rapier is a melee armament found in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇯🇵

Spur of a giant ant which has been fashioned into a rapier. The blade drips with scarlet rot.

Scarlet rot is an old legend, of which Maleigh Marais of the Shaded Castle was a private believer. And indeed, he eventually found his own personal goddess.

Acquisition

Guaranteed drop: The Shaded Castle ^{(Altus Plateau)}

• Dropped by Maleigh Marais, Shaded Castle Castellan, found just to the west of The Shaded Castle, together with a Guardian Golem.

Notes

• Can inflict 3 Status Effects at the same time by combining either the Skill: Poisonous Mist and the Blood Affinity or the Skill: Seppuku and the Poison Affinity.
• The Scarlet Rot build-up of the weapon cannot be made to scale, and can only be increased by Weapon Buffs such as Rot Grease.
• Pairs well with the Skill: The Poison Flower Blooms Twice due to its being able to detonate the inflicted Scarlet Rot for more immediate damage instead of waiting out the duration of the Rot.
• Dexterity-leaning with its Affinities, which is also noticeable from the very high requirement of 20 Dexterity.
• Fairly short for a Thrusting Sword.
• Average Attack Power.

1.09 (Bug fix)	Fixed a bug where the Scarlet rot status buildup was not properly reflected when giving the Antspur Rapier a Cold affinity.	The bug made the Scarlet Rot build-up of this weapon disappear when it was upgrade to +9 or higher and was using the Cold Affinity.
