This Ash of War grants an armament the Flame Art affinity and the following skill:

"Flame Skewer: Skill of Queelign of the Fire Knights. Enwreathe armament in flame and assume a low stance before skewering the enemy in a single motion. Strong attack unleashes a follow-up flame attack."

Usable on medium and large armaments capable of thrusting.

Effect

Applies the skill Flame Skewer to any infusable medium, large, or colossal weapon capable of thrusting, and thrusting shields: Straight Swords, Light Greatswords , Greatswords, Colossal Swords, Thrusting Swords, Heavy Thrusting Swords, Katanas, Great Katanas , Twinblades, Spears, Great Spears, Halberds, and Thrusting Shields .

Compatible with the affinities Standard and Flame Art by default, and also Heavy, Keen and Quality if the Iron Whetblade has been acquired and Fire if the Red-Hot Whetblade has been acquired.

Acquisition

Guaranteed Drop: Church of the Crusade or Belurat, Tower Settlement

• Dropped by Fire Knight Queelign during his second invasion. If the first invasion was in Belurat, he will invade again when entering the Church of the Crusade. If the first invasion was in the Church, he will invade again when entering a small plaza filled with Shadow Undead in eastern Belurat, Tower Settlement (head out the north door from the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, then head down the stairs east past a Horned Warrior, and finally go north to reach the spot).
  • This second invasion will only happen if his previous invasion has been defeated. The invasions will keep happening until he has been defeated at each respective spot.

Once this item has been obtained, it can be duplicated by trading in Lost Ashes of War to Smithing Master Hewg.
