The majority of divine beasts were gored and hung upon Messmer's spears, then burned in his flame. Those who witnessed the deed likened it to a funeral pyre for the tower itself.

Belurat, Tower Settlement SOTE.png is a sub-region and dungeon in the Land of the Tower, to the west of Gravesite Plain.

Overview

A street on Belurat's ground level.

A Hornsent city at the base of a shaded tower, to the northwest of the Gravesite Plain. The Gate of Divinity is said to reside somewhere here. Belurat was besieged during the Crusade of Messmer the Impaler.

Belurat was once the location of the tower festival, during which the sculpted keepers would perform the dance of the Divine Beast.[1] After Messmer's forces assailed the city, the sculpted keepers became warriors and the Divine Beasts were weaponized in the city's defense.[2]

The city consists of a ground level, a boggy, infested lower city, and an upper city and rooftop segment. It is accessed for the first time by heading northwest from the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace in the Gravesite Plain. From there, a large entry stairway leads to towering doors marking the city entrance.

Later on in the story of Shadow of the Erdtree, a second entrance to Belurat can be opened by descending Enir-Ilim. This leads to the staircase just outside the Theatre of the Divine Beast.

Overview

The third Site of Grace located inside of Belurat, found just before the Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Found by heading northwest from the Small Private Altar and then taking the sidestreets to reach a building with a ladder leading upwards, then jumping across the rooftops filled with Gravebirds to get to a bridge guarded by a Horned Warrior and then a tower with a staircase guarded by a Curseblade, and then taking a final set of stairs to reach the Grace.
