Belurat Gaol SOTE.png is a dungeon on the Gravesite Plain.

Overview

A massive jar on an altar deep within the gaol.

A frigid gaol under the Hornsent city of Belurat. Located due west of the Abandoned Ailing Village on the Gravesite Plain. In this gaol, the condemned were diced up and stuffed into jars.[1] The prisoners in the gaol are sustained by frozen maggots that grow in the jar innards.[2]

Deep within the gaol, Demi-Human Swordmaster Onze has imprisoned himself to stall the ruinous conclusion he foresaw on his path.[3]

Like the other gaols in the realm of shadow, the Belurat Gaol is populated by Jar Dwellers and Shadow Undead. A Stranded Soul outside a shaft of hanging jars begs forgiveness, promising they "won't ever do it again."[4] It is not known what crimes one had to commit to be condemned to the jars.

The Belurat Gaol is a suitable location to stock up on frozen maggots, which are used to craft the Hefty Freezing Pot. Additionally, Innard Meat can be harvested from the Jar Dwellers; this tool can be thrown to weaponize its rancorous spirits.
