Overview

The Blackflame Monks, enthralled by the god-slaying black flame, became traitors, abandoning their posts as guardians.^[1] Amon became the first fire monk to turn traitor by swearing fealty to the god-slaying black flame, perhaps it is better said that he fled from the Giants' Flame—out of cowardice.^[2]
