Blasphemous Claw

Blasphemous Claw is a reusable consumable tool in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Its purpose is to aid the player in their fight against Maliketh, where it can "parry" specific attacks.

Description

A slab of rock engraved with traces of the Rune of Death.

Can deflect the power of the Black Blade.

On the night of the dire plot, Ranni rewarded Praetor Rykard with these traces. Should the coming trespass one day transpire, they would serve as a last-resort foil, allowing Rykard to challenge Maliketh the Black Blade, the black beast of Destined Death.

Acquisition

Dropped by Bernahl in Crumbling Farum Azula if you completed his Volcano Manor questline and killed Praetor Rykard.

Notes

• It is similar to Margit's Shackle, Mohg's Shackle and Purifying Crystal Tear in that it only exists for the purpose of making a very difficult boss more managable and the acquisition of both is loosely tied to the quest of an NPC.
• Can be used to "parry" some of Maliketh's attacks, more specifically those of his melee attacks were his sword has a golden glow.
