Bows

Bows are a type of ranged weapons in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾. Bows, in a lot of ways, are the most average out of the Bow sub-classes. They have average weight, moderate Attack Power, and a normal firing rate. Bows can be fired mid-jump and the wielder can move around while readying an arrow, but arrows cannot be fired out of a roll or a sprint like they can while using a Light Bow. Bows can be fired while riding on Torrent, however, the steed will slow down while firing. Bows only accept arrows as their ammunition.

The Black Bow and Ansbach's Longbow have the same moveset as Light Bows while still being classified as Bows.

Bows deal Pierce damage with their arrows.

Ashes of War

Bows, like all ranged weapons, have a very small number of compatible Ashes of War. All of them are locked to Standard Affinity, regardless of the Whetblades that have been acquired.

The following Ashes of War are compatible with infusable Bows:
