Castle Sol

Castle Sol is a dungeon in Elden Ring.

Overview

A castle in the northern Mountaintops of the Giants. The master of Castle Sol was once given half of a medallion that would allow him to visit Miquella's Haligtree.^[1] The castle was the site of an attempt to trigger an eclipse^[2], in order to restore the soul of Miquella's comrade, however the sun was not swallowed and the master of the castle lost hope of ever seeing the Haligtree.^[3] Commander Niall, a veteran of Castle Sol, remained in the castle, commanding the spirits of his army of no nation to protect his long-passed master.^[4]

Sites of Grace

Found just before the entrance to the castle.

Found in a side room within the small church on the upper level of the castle.

Appears in the boss room after defeating Commander Niall.
