Church of Vows

Church of Vows is a location in Elden Ring.

Overview

An old, crumbling church on the eastern side of Liurnia. The Church of Vows was the site of the marriage between Rennala, Queen of Caria, and Radagon, the red-haired champion of the Erdtree, uniting the houses of the Erdtree and the Moon following their conflict during the Liurnian Wars.

The aged pastor, Miriel, oversees the church despite its dilapidated state. He has in-depth knowledge of the history of Liurnia and the Carian Royal Family, which he is happy to divulge if spoken to.

At the back of the church stands an ornate basin. It is said that Radagon repented his territorial aggression by cleansing himself with dew in this pool. The player may replicate this act here by offering up Celestial Dew, performing an Absolution to render any NPCs that have been attacked non-hostile.
