Defeating the Tibia Mariner in Summonwater Village in Limgrave.
Deathtouched Catacombs at Stormhill in Limgrave , in a chest after defeating the Black Knife Assassin boss.
Defeating the Tibia Mariner in eastern Liurnia of the Lakes .
Black Knife Catacombs in eastern Liurnia of the Lakes, in a chest after defeating the Cemetery Shade boss.
Defeating the Tibia Mariner in western Altus Plateau near Wyndham Catacombs .
Gelmir Hero's Grave at Mt. Gelmir , in a chest after defeating the Red Wolf of the Champion boss.
Giants' Mountaintop Catacombs on Mountaintops of the Giants , in a chest after defeating the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss.
Defeating the Tibia Mariner in Mountaintops of the Giants in the graveyard on the way to Castle Sol .

Trivia
In the original Japanese text, the Greattree doesn't exist as a proper noun. Its roots are simply "great" or "large tree roots" (大樹根, taijune.)[ 1]
