Elden Stars

Elden Stars is an incantation spell in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾. It is one of the Erdtree incantations.

Description

This legendary incantation is the most ancient of those that derive from the Erdtree.

Creates a stream of golden shooting stars that assail the area.

It is said that long ago, the Greater Will sent a golden star bearing a beast into the Lands Between, which would later become the Elden Ring.

Acquisition

Loot: Deeproot Depths

• Elden Stars can be looted from a body at the end of a cave filled with giant ants in the Deeproot Depths, located immediately west of the Great Waterfall Crest grace, after climbing up one of the large roots.

Effects

This spell sends out a golden orb that tracks its target while shooting out small projectiles with Holy Attack Power equal to 20% of Incantation Scaling. Upon making contact with a surface or enemy, the orb explodes, dealing Holy Attack Power equal to 199% of Incantation Scaling and hitting a 4.2-meter radius around the point of impact.

• Costs 47 FP per cast.
• Costs 48 Stamina per cast.
• Requires 1 Memory Slot to be equipped.
• Deals 14 Stance damage with the explosion and 0.5 Stance damage per mini-projectile that hits.

Strategies

• The small projectiles sent out by the main orb deal extremely low damage and are mainly useful for harassing other players with constant incoming damage ticks.
  • The reason that the damage is so much lower than the difference in Attack Power suggests is because defense reduces the damage of attacks with relatively lower Attack Power much more than those with relatively high Attack Power.
• Generally a rather ineffective spell that is mostly useful for pressuring other players in PvP scenarios.

• The Elden Beast uses this spell.
• Patch 1.07 decreased FP consumption from 47 to 41.
• Patch 1.04 increased cast speed and decreased recovery time.
