Part of a Fallingstar Beast's jaw, hard and shining black, fashioned into a weapon.

With its sharp point, this colossal weapon can skewer foes.

Unique Skill: Gravity Bolt

Imbue the jaw of the fallingstar beast with gravitational lightning sending a bolt crashing down a short distance away. Can be fired in rapid succession.

Acquisition

Acquired by defeating the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast boss in a large crater on Mt. Gelmir, south of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite grace.

Notes

• Has a 20% damage bonus against Gravity-affinity enemies.

• Does best when used on a hybrid Strength/Dexterity build as both scales equally well for both the weapon's damage and the skill's damage. The Intelligence-scaling, on the other hand, provide very minimal benefits overall to both the weapoon and the skill.
• The skill is mostly Physical damage with a side of Magic damage, both scaling the same way as the weapon itself does.

Trivia

• Patch 1.08 decreased poise damage dealt by this weapon (Colossal Weapons more specifically) and greatly decreased the Stance damage dealt by the skill, from 33 (on par with a dual-wielded jump attack of this weapon) to 7 (less than half of that of a light attack).
• Patch 1.09 increased this weapon's scaling values.

Upgrading

• Upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones.
• Cannot be buffed or have its affinity changed with Ashes of War.
