Freezing Pot is a craftable, consumable tool in ELDEN RING (2022).
Description
Acquisition
Recipe is included with Glintstone Craftsman's Cookbook 6, found in a room in the south-eastern wall of Caria Manor on the ground level.
Effect
Has 119 Magic Attack Power and inflicts 380 Frostbite build-up.
Notes
- Deals 3 Stance damage.
- Inflicts enough Frostbite build-up that most players not built to defend against will have the Status Effect applied to them in one hit. This will interrupt their current action.
- Another enemy against which this is possible is Malenia, Blade of Miquella, who can be instantly be frostbitten by a Freezing Pot twice per fight. This will interrupt Waterfowl Dance, letting one avoid the attack entirely if the pot is thrown quickly enough.
- Might only work on the first Journey/NG of that character.
- Note that this only works if she hasn't had the full Frostbite status applied to her twice in any other way, and if at least 30 seconds have passed since the last Frostbite application or she has received Fire damage since then. Her Frostbite resistance becomes too high for this method to work (reliably) afterwards.

Trivia
- One of the few pots that do not have a roped counterpart, though it does have an unused version of it in the game's files: the Roped Freezing Pot.
