Fallingstar Beast is a reoccurring boss in Elden Ring.

Overview

Fallingstar Beasts are creatures formed of shiny black rock. They have spiky tails, patches of white fur, and insect-like mandibles. They are found in craters, likely indicating that they plummeted onto the Lands Between from a great distance.

The more mature Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast have greater magical abilities, able to control gravity in their vicinity and unleash great magical beams akin to Comet Azur.

They can use Gravity-based abilities, much like other enemies associated with meteors and fallen stars such as Alabaster Lords, Onyx Lords, and Withered Astel. Much like those other enemies, they are also weak to gravity-based sorceries. Additionally, extraterrestrial weapons such as the Wing of Astel and the Alabaster Lord's Sword and gravity imbued weapons such as the Starscourge Greatsword and Radahn's Spear greatarrows deal bonus damage to these foes.

Background

A large Fallingstar Beast encountered in a crater on Mt. Gelmir, accessed via a ladder or a spirit spring near the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace. It has a blue orb resembling an eye emerging from the fur on its face, reminiscent of the eye visible through the crack in Astel's skull.

It also has an additional phase when falling below half health, unleashing a lifting gravity wave in an area around itself and being able to shot sweeping beams of magic.
