- Godskin Swaddling Cloth

The Gloam-Eyed Queen was an Empyrean who was defeated long ago by Maliketh. She was the leader of the Godskin Apostles and wielded the god-slaying power of Destined Death.[1][2][3]

Overview

The Gloam-Eyed Queen channeled her power through her sword

The Gloam-Eyed Queen was an Empyrean chosen by her own Two Fingers. She led the apostles in their god hunt,[3] wielded the power of Destined Death and channeling its Black Flames through her Godslayer's Greatsword.[1] She cradled newborn Godskin Apostles in a swaddling cloth made from patches of supple skin sewn together.[4] Her apostles developed inhuman physiology and would grow to be the death of the gods.[5]

The Golden Order

Queen Marika desired the removal of the Rune of Death from the Elden Ring to create the Golden Order.[6] After the Gloam-Eyed Queen and her apostles were defeated at the hands of Maliketh, the Rune of Death was sealed away within his Black Blade and the true power of the Godslayer incantations was lost.[7][8][9] The Gloam-Eyed Queen's sword was locked away at the bottom of the Divine Tower of Caelid, and her fate remains unknown.
