Grafted Blade Greatsword is a Legendary melee armament found in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

The storied sword of Castle Morne. A revenger's weapon, it is burdened with oceans of anger and regret. One of the legendary armaments.

A lone surviving champion from a country now vanished was so determined to continue fighting that he claimed the swords of an entire clan of warriors.

Acquisition

Guaranteed Drop: Castle Morne ^{(Weeping Peninsula)}

• Defeat the Leonine Misbegotten, found at the end of the castle.

Notes

• The Attribute boosts from this weapon's unique skill, Oath of Vengeance, is especially useful early on, as it will boost your durability by increasing your Defense and HP, and also increase your Equip Load by roughly 8.0 (about 5.6 if accounting for the 70% threshold for Medium Load) letting you carry it easier.
  • Curiously the skill is much quicker than the Skill: Endure is when used with Colossal Swords and has a good bit longer duration (5 seconds instead of 3.5 seconds).
• This is one of the earliest available Colossal Swords or Weapons and most likely the second acquired after the Zweihander, also found on the Weeping Peninsula.
• While the Dexterity scaling is a good bit stronger than expected it will only exceed the benefits of the Strength scaling when the final softcap of 80 (54 if using both hands) Strength is reached.
• Do keep in mind that while the bonuses to Strength and Dexterity can increase the damage dealt by this weapon's attacks it cannot be used to meet the one-handed Attribute requirements as the skill itself is not usable without meeting at least the two-handed requirements.

Upgrading

• The Grafted Blade Greatsword cannot be buffed by spells or any consumables.
• The Grafted Blade Greatsword cannot have its Ash of War or Affinity changed.
