Grand Altar of Dragon Communion
The Grand Altar of Dragon Communion is a location at the Foot of the Jagged Peak in the Realm of Shadow.
Overview
An ancient site of Dragon Communion found in the corpse of a massive drake. The Dragon Communion Priestess dwells here, sacrificing her sleep every night so that Placidusax might take solace in it instead.[1] In turn, she receives her lord's favor, which she can offer as a blessing to the Tarnished.[2]
The Dragon Communion Priestess stands watch over a large bowl surrounded by the neck of the dead drake. In this bowl, the flame of Dragon Communion burns; the Tarnished can interact with it to gain the powers of dragons, much like can be done at the Church of Dragon Communion in Limgrave and the Cathedral of Dragon Communion in Caelid.
The Grand Altar of Dragon Communion can be reached by taking the Pillar Path highroad south from Castle Ensis on the Gravesite Plain, then going through the Dragon's Pit to reach the Foot of the Jagged Peak. The Grand Altar is located around a kilometer south from there. The nearest Site of Grace is Grand Altar of Dragon Communion, but if it has not been accessed yet, the next closest is Dragon's Pit Terminus.
The titanic dragon corpse is littered with Dragon Communion Harpoons. Traversing the body and crossing its wings leads to Charo's Hidden Grave.

Items
- Ancient Dragon Florissax or Priestess Heart and Flowerstone Gavel, depending on the choices of the Tarnished.
- Igon's Cookbook [1], in a ruined watchtower at the north of the altar.
Notes
- The drake corpse is around four hundred meters long, making it around seventy meters longer than that of Gransax.[3]
- As a result, this is also the largest known dragon in the world of Elden Ring.
- The dead drake has been impaled in the head with a massive harpoon. Additionally, its heart has been carved out; it is possible that the heart was consumed in an act of communion.
