Guardian is an enemy in ELDEN RING (2022).
Guardians of the Minor Erdtrees, known as experts in the arts of combat who wield spears crafted from the hard wood of old trees.[1] In accordance with an ancient pact with the Erdtree, their deaths lead not to destruction, but instead to renewed, eternal life as guardians.[2] They are typically found near Minor Erdtrees, as well as among the roots of the Erdtree itself, in Leyndell, Royal Capital. They appear to have tree roots growing from their backs.
Masked guardians commonly found around Minor Erdtrees. They fight using swordspears, and have a charging attack which releases a cloud of poison.

Guardians with blood-red flowers blooming on their backs, said to mark the senescence of their ancient pact.[3] They can grow additional flowers on their backs to restore their health, and can reinforce their weapons with large roots, granting them much heavier attacks.
