Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirits of four Haligtree soldiers.

Spirits of common soldiers who carry the sacred light. When weakened, they explode to deliver a last-ditch attack. This was the bitter revelation discovered by the desperate soldiers who awaited the return of their lord to the rotted Haligtree.

May the flash of our deaths guide Miquella's return.

Acquisition

Found in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, under a large chalice on a balcony on the north side of the dungeon.

From the Prayer Room Site of Grace, take the third beam on the right to a small chapel then take the opposite beam to the outer wall. There is a room below the left end of the wall with several Cleanrot Knights and past the left exit is the chalice.

Notes

• Upgraded with Grave Gloveworts.
• Summons four Haligtree Foot Soldier, two with a dagger and two with a short sword. All four can throw Poison Pots.
  • Effectively has half as much health as their HP bars say because they will sacrifice themselves and explode once they reach that point.
• Deal Standard damage with their weapon attacks and Holy damage with their explosion and can inflict Poison build-up with their Pots.
• Pretty good damage due to their high aggression and very capable of inflicting Poison due to throwing their Pots in a volley early on, but very fragile due to the whole sacrifices-themselves-at-half-health thing. It's also found quite late in the game.
