Description Description

Effect Effects

Throw a large pot that explodes and unleashes a fiery torndao upon impact. The Hefty Furnace Pot has 370 base Fire Attack Power and launches human-sized foes into the air.

Notes Notes

  • The requirement for an empty Hefty Cracked Pot is not listed directly in the crafting menu, instead having a row for it just above. The Pot is returned after the consumable is thrown.
  • Deals 10 Stance damage.
  • The Hefty Furnace Pot, the Hefty Lightning Pot, and the Hefty Rock Pot all have 370 base damage for their respective damage types, making them the best hefty pots in terms of raw damage.
    • Faith-scaling drops off heavily after 50 Faith, making all 3 stats grant roughly equal amounts of extra Attack Power at that point.
      • Faith-scaling greatly increases Attack Power, while Strength and Dexterity provides minimal benefit: the former almost triples the AP, while the latter two barely adds 60% AP if both are at 99.
    • 10 Strength (Str), 10 Dexterity (Dex), and 10 Faith (Fth) grants 527 Attack Power (AP), 10 Str, 10 Dex, and 30 Fth grants 737 AP, 10 Str, 10 Dex, and 50 Fth grants 900 AP, 10 Str, 10 Dex, and 80 Fth grants 992 AP while 30 Str, 30 Dex, and 50 Fth grants 976 AP, and 99 Str, 99 Dex, and 99 Fth grants 1,202 AP.
  • One of these is required to awaken the Furnace Golem that blocks the path to the Ruins of Unte.
  • Deals much more damage if thrown into the "basket" on top of a Furnace Golem.
  • Due to the extreme rarity of Furnace Visages, Hefty Furnace Pots should be used sparingly. Hefty Fire Pots could be used as a substitute if a character has decent Strength as they also deal Fire damage.
