Helphen's Steeple is a melee armament found in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇯🇵

Greatsword patterned after the black steeple of the Helphen, the lampwood which guides the dead of the spirit world.

The lamplight is similar to grace in appearance, only it is said that it can only be seen by those who met their death in battle.

Acquisition

Guaranteed drop: Mountaintops of the Giants

• Dropped by a Tibia Mariner in the Mountaintops, overlooking Castle Sol and not far from the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Grace and where you fight the Mountaintops' Death Rite Bird.

Notes

• The unique skill functions as a very short-ranged melee attack, making it possible to buff or re-buff in the middle of an attack combo.
• The weapon only has Frostbite build-up when buffed by the unique skill.
• The Strength- and Intelligence-scalings are roughly equally strong, leading to a Strength/Intelligence hybrid build granting the most Attack Power, followed slightly by a pure Intelligence build and then by a pure Strength build.

Trivia

• Greatly reminiscent of the Onyx Blade from Dark Souls III, though based on Magic and Frostbite instead of on Dark and Fire.
• The branches on the blade makes it resemble a larger version of the Morion Blade of Dark Souls III.
