The "Leave" option for this item was once mistakenly disabled at the launch of Shadow of the Erdtree. This was later patched in Game Version 1.14.
The reason for this oversight is likely a remnant from the time where it was once unused content. Potentially as a way of denying hackers a means of tricking unsuspecting players into picking it up during online play and potentially flag their save files as containing unverified content by the game's anti-cheat.
