Invaders are hostile NPCs or online players in ELDEN RING (2022).
Overview
The main objective of an Invader is to defeat the Host of Fingers (colloquially known as the Host). While they can kill Furled Fingers for Runes and Hunters for Runes and Furlcalling Finger Remedies, killing the Host will reward them with Runes and a Rune Arc, as well as ending the multiplayer session.
Invaders in Single-player
Unlike most other FROMSOFTWARE titles, Invaders cannot invade Hosts that are not accompanied by a Furled Finger or two (colloquially known as a Solo Host). NPC Invaders are exempt from this rule.
The only legitimate method of invading a Solo Host is if they activate the Taunter's Tongue.
