Knight's Greatsword is a melee armament found in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

Greatsword bestowed upon skilled swordsmen in the demigods' service, and yet had no rank or title.

Featuring a long grip enabling a dual-handed use, this weapon was designed to dispatch larger foes. Being charged with such a duty was undoubtedly a great honor.

Acquisition

Drop: Limgrave / Liurnia of the Lakes / Caelid / Mt. Gelmir / Altus Plateau / Deeproot Depths / Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree

• 4% drop chance from various sword-wielding knight enemies: Godrick Knights, Cuckoo Knights, Leyndell Knights and Mausoleum Knights.
  • 2 sword-wielding Godrick Knights can be found at the camp between the Warmaster's Shack and the Saintsbridge Site of Grace.
  • A lone, sword-wielding Mausoleum Knight can be found just outside of the Black Knife Catacombs, with its back turned to the entrance.

Notes

• Uses a unique, more vertical Greatsword two-handed light attack moveset derived from Dark Souls 2's Mirrah Greatsword and shared with the Banished Knight's Greatsword and the Inseparable Sword.
  • This gives it a unique attack combo, where a two-handed jumping light attack followed by a two-handed regular light attack makes it impossible to dodge the second hit if the first hit lands.
• This is the second-longest pre-DLC Greatswords, after the Sacred Relic Sword.
  • This also makes it the longest Greatsword with the unique light attack moveset.
• Overall Dexterity-leaning, especially compared to the more Strength-leaning Banished Knight's Greatsword.

Trivia

• This weapon shares a moveset with the Hollowslayer Greatsword from Dark Souls 3 (external link).
• This is one of the weapons where the Affinity prefix gets placed in the middle of the weapon name (between "Knight's" and "Greatsword" in this case) instead of at the front.
