Leyndell Knight
Leyndell Knight is an enemy in ELDEN RING (2022).
Overview
A knight of Leyndell, distinguished by the golden canopy on their helms that marks them as one of the tree's defenders.[1] Their armor's left breast is emblazoned with a symbol of Erdtree Worship, rumored to have been imbued with an incantation of protection.[2] They carry with them an oval greatshield made of gold, earning the knights a reputation for their sturdiness.[3]
All Leyndell Knights carry a Golden Greatshield. Those that wield Knight's Greatsword are capable of imbuing their armament with lightning by using a variant of Skill: Lightning Slash whose final follow-up can hit much further away. Those that wield a Partisan are capable of calling down lightning, using a variant of Skill: Thunderbolt that also buffs their spear with lightning, as well as casting Rejection. They are highly skilled combatants, able to Guard Counter if an attack lands on their shields. Some Leyndell Knights wield a Greatbow, but will switch to a greatsword-and-greatshield setup upon approach. Like other knight enemies, they can also appear on horseback, where they can use Skill: Golden Vow until they get knocked off. There are also Frenzied Leyndell Knights on Mt. Gelmir that are capable of casting The Flame of Frenzy and Howl of Shabriri incantations.
