Leyndell Soldier is an enemy in ELDEN RING (2022).

Overview

A soldier sworn to defend Leyndell. They wear a surcoat bearing the majestic likeness of the Erdtree, its golden backing an honor not bestowed upon any other soldier. [1] They fight their battles defensively and during the Shattering they were the ramparts that fortified the royal capital. [2]

They wield either Lordsworn's Straight Sword or Warpick and can carry either a Torch or Brass Shield in their offhand. Those with a shield can perform a Guard Counter if an attack lands on their shield. They can also employ the use of a Spark Aromatic. Some of them will also carry a trumpet on their person. Upon spotting the player, they will use it and attract nearby enemies towards their position.

Some of them wield a Heavy Crossbow for ranged combat, while others are able to employ the use of Spark Aromatic. Those that wield a Partisan also carry a Lordsworn's Shield, while those that use the Lordsworn's Greatsword carry no shield but are capable of performing the Ash of War: Determination. There are also Frenzied Leyndell Soldiers on Mt. Gelmir that can cast The Flame of Frenzy incantation.
