Limveld is the setting of ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN.

Overview

An example map of Limveld.

A once-thriving country now being eroded by the Night.[1] Limveld is an ever-shifting land, fluctuating every time it is visited.[2][1] In this parallel world, the Nightfarers journey from the Roundtable Hold to face the Nightlord and the Night's Tide.[3][4]

Limveld shares many characteristics with the demesne of Limgrave in the Lands Between. It has geographical features resembling Mistwood, Murkwater River, Lake Agheel, and Stormhill. While these general features will not vary initially, the actual points of interest will vary with every expedition. World events will also cause changes in the playable area throughout each mission.

Mechanics

A map of Limveld showing Sites of Grace, locations of the Nightfarers, and other points of interest.

The map of Limveld is procedurally generated to offer a new experience every time it is visited. Limveld features Spiritstream Jumps, which function similarly to Spiritspring Jumps. Other means of navigation include spectral hawk perches which, when interacted with, allow the Nightfarers to follow jetstreams on set trajectories across the island.

Ghost merchants are located throughout the map and sell smithing stones and other useful items. They also usually have a smithing table accessible nearby for upgrading weapons.

Parallel versions of Fort Haight house maps with additional information about hidden areas and treasure.

After surviving two nights, the Nightfarers can enter the Spirit Shelter.
