A peculiar weapon carried by Imps. Greatsword smithed in the shape of a fork-tongued lizard.

Strong attacks allow the wielder to fire the forked tongue from the blade.

Acquisition

Drop: Fog Rift Catacombs ^{(Fog Rift Catacombs)} / Scorpion River Catacombs ^{(Rauh Base)}

• 2% drop chance from Greatsword-wielding, Lion-Headed Imps found in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Notes

• Overall fairly strong, and the strongest Greatsword with the Keen Affinity.
• Performing a heavy attack or a charged heavy attack will fire a projectile, alongside the thrust attack shared with the Claymore and Greatsword of Damnation.
  • If this weapon is infused with a Status Effect, both the projectile and the melee thrust will inflict the full status buildup of the weapon. This allows for double status buildup if both the melee attack and the projectile hit.
  • The projectile recieves no benefit from the flat damage of any Weapon Buff, such as Fire Grease or Electrify Armament. Non-damage benefits such as Bloodflame Blade's and Black Flame Blade's respective Blood Loss-over-time and Blackflame effect still apply to the projectile.
  • Note that the altered heavy attacks from the skills War Cry, Barbaric Roar, and Braggart's Roar will not activate this projectile throw.
• Like Smithscript Weapons, the Lizard Greatsword cannot be infused with most Ashes of War that grant a Skill that involves a Weapon Buff.
  • Incompatible Ash of War Skills: Cragblade, Determination, Royal Knight's Resolve, Chilling Mist, Flaming Strike, Flame Skewer, Flame Spear, Lightning Slash, Sacred Blade, Sacred Order, Shared Order, Poisonous Mist, and Seppuku.
• This is the only Greatsword that deals Strike damage.
