Marred Leather Shield is a shield found in ELDEN RING (2022).
Description
Leather shield of Stormveil soldiers. Much like the castle, it is marred by mottling and thorns.
Some say it is the curse of grafting which causes such affliction, while others talk of its root being something altogether more sinister hidden deep within the castle.
Acquisition
Loot: Stormveil Castle
- Located halfway up the wooden walkway to the side entrance of the castle that Gostoc recommends, found just after the Stormveil Cliffside Site of Grace.
Notes
- The innate Blood Loss build-up scales with any Arcane-scaling granted by affinities (Poison, Blood, and Occult).
- While the Blood affinity grants the exact same amount of build-up and scaling as with any other medium shield, it does cause the Blood Loss procs to deal an extra 100 flat damage.
Trivia
- Patch 1.14 increased the Physical block from 81% to 90% and the Guard Boost from 46 to 51.
- Patch 1.03 increased the Physical block from 76% to 81% and the Guard Boost from 40 to 46.
