Milady

Milady is a melee armament in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Description

A light greatsword; that is, a sword whose blade matches the length of a greatsword, while being constrained to a minimal weight.

Nicknamed after ladies of noble status for its refined appearance. With cultivated form, one can wield this weapon as swiftly as one might a straightsword.

Acquisition

Loot: Castle Ensis ^{(Gravesite Plain)}

• The weapon can be found in a chest at the top of a watchtower in Castle Ensis. The watchtower can be reached from the Castle-Lord's Chamber Site of Grace by heading out the small arched doorway onto a stone balcony, jumping over the ledge, and continuing downwards on the rock facings. You can then head up the watchtower via a set of stairs and ladders.

Notes

• As the only infusable Light Greatsword, this is the only weapon able to take advantage of the synergy with Status Effect-based Affinities and their multi-hit moveset.
  • This applies more specifically to the one- and two-handed heavy attacks, charged heavy attacks, running heavy attacks, and jumping heavy attacks.
  • The Skill: Wing Stance is practically innate to this weapon, as it's the only weapon able to use it.
• Overall Dexterity-leaning, especially so with the Affinities that magnify the base Scaling (Cold Affinity, Poison Affinity, and Blood Affinity), though it's by the slightest bit the strongest when two-handed with a Heavy Affinity.
