- Miranda's Prayer[Note 1]

Miranda flowers are a species in ELDEN RING (2022). Miranda are poisonous,[4] man-eating flowers with the ability to summon a downpour of holy light.[1][5] There are six strains of miranda flowers distributed throughout the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow. Full-grown miranda blossoms are typically surrounded by little miranda sprouts. They produce a powdery pollen known for its bedeviling fragrance.

Background

The perfumers prize the miranda powder

The carnivorous miranda flowers were an Aspect of the Crucible in an age long past.[3] Their origin was uncovered deep within the forgotten Rauh ruins by Crucible Knight Devonia during her search for the true source of the Crucible.[6] The miranda flowers have since evolved adaptations to flourish in a variety of hostile environments.

Since antiquity, the miranda flowers have been cultivated by the cloistered perfumers of Leyndell.[7][2] Their potent, unspent pollen,[1] extracted with great care, has long been a key ingredient in the creation of powerful healing aromatics.[8] The sanctity of the miranda flowers was among the Erdtree's most fiercly guarded secrets.

Later, after the onset of the Shattering,[7] the respected art of perfuming was turned to martial ends.[8][9] As the knowledge of the powder spread,[2] so too were the miranda flowers scattered across the Lands Between.
