Notes Notes

  • The innate skill, Tremendous Phalanx, is effectively the skill version of Greatblade Phalanx and a larger version of the Skill: Glintblade Phalanx. Like those two, this skill's spectral swords can be prepared before battle to immediately launch when an enemy steps into range.
    • Compared to the Troll Knight's Sword's skill the damage and Stance damage is lower, but it's much more mobile and versatile.
  • Has unique one- and two-handed heavy attacks and charged heavy attacks, where the first attack in each two-attack chain is replaced by a thrust. This trait is shared with the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword SOTE.png, Fire Knight's Greatsword SOTE.png, Troll Knight's Sword, and Zweihander.
    • This gives the weapon the versatility of having a thrust attack besides the crouching light attack.
  • Scales best with an even split between Strength and Dexterity (883 Attack Power), though a pure Strength or pure Dexterity build has only 6% less Attack Power (831).
    • Intelligence is largely useless for increasing the weapon's damage, but it will slightly strengthen the skill's projectiles: increasing Intelligence to 30 will increase their Attack Power by 6% compared to having 20 Intelligence, while increasing it to 45 will increase Attack Power by 15%.

Trivia

  • This weapon has the same appearance as and near identical statistics to the Troll Knight's Sword, with the only difference being their skills.
