Nightlord
The Nightlord is the main antagonist of ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN. It appears as a powerful boss after surviving 2 days.
Overview
At the end of each expedition into Limveld, after surviving two nights, the Nightfarers challenge the manifestation of the Nightlord that they set out to hunt. The Nightlord has eight different manifestations, each of which serves as a unique boss fight. The Nightlord is found within the Spirit Shelter, a petrified Divine Tower accessible on the third day of each expedition.
The Nightfarers have been tasked with claiming the life of the Nightlord. Defeating its manifestations yields powerful Relics which can be used to permanently empower the Nightfarers.
It is the influence of the Nightlord that is responsible for the drawing in of enemies from other worlds.[1] These "ancestral foes" are "remnants of a fire that once burned bright."[2]

Notes
- For the achievement A Champion's Path, any Nightlord can be defeated; not necessarily Heolstor.
- The Nightlord may or may not be related to the Lord of Night awaited by the Nox.[3]
- The individual day three bosses in Nightreign are each referred to as Nightlords; however, the objective of the game is also to come closer to defeating the Nightlord after successful expeditions. It is unknown if each boss is a physical manifestation of the same individual following the mechanism of a Silver Tear or otherwise.
