Darkdrift Knight (Everdark Sovereign) is the enhanced version of Fulghor.

Behavior

Everdark Fulghor starts the fight in phase 2 of his original version, with the Night already forming his missing limb.

Once he falls to half health, he cuts off his Night-arm, ascending briefly into the air as he regenerates his missing arm, signalling his change of phase. Once at this phase, lightning damage no longer causes him to stagger.

The first thing he does is fire an arrow into the air, and create showers of holy projectiles that start from his position and slowly move out in each Nightfarer's general direction.

Everdark Fulghor can now wield his twinblade to its fullest.

  • If he twirls it above him, he will proceed into a swiping twinblade combo, with a blind spot at his rear. He swings it five times, pauses to reorient himself, swings four times, then winds up for one last hit.
  • If he holds it still above him, he will perform two spinning sweeps with it, leap into the air, and then land back down with one last hit.

If Everdark Fulghor begins galloping into the air, he will eventually train his bow on the location of the Nightfarer he has marked as his target. A sparkling golden beam will appear tracking that target's last position, before he unleashes an arrow that causes a massive explosion. He then slowly drifts back down to the ground before resuming his attacks.

Strategy

  • Keep your distance when he telegraphs his arrow-rain attack so you can run around it.
  • When he begins telegraphing his massive nuke attack, identify who he's tracking and keep your distance from his target.
    • If you are the target, hold your position to let your teammates flee safely. When the golden beam appears, begin surge-sprinting in a straight line as he has now stopped tracking your position. Consider running towards Fulghor so that you can land in a few free hits as he floats down after the nuke.
  • His twinblade combo has a massive blind spot at his rear. Rolling there will evade most of the first part of his combo, and let you create distance before he turns around for the second half of the combo.
