Gaping Dragon is an enemy that appears in ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN.

Strategy

In Dark Souls, its tail can be cut down gain a special weapon. Slashing weapons (scimitars, daggers, katanas, etc.) are more likely to cut off the tail.

In Nightreign, its tail can also be cut, and there is a small chance that it will drop a random rare weapon.

The same happens with the Centipede Demon.
