The closed door entrance into the cave.

The Secret Place is an initially unmarked location in ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN ⁽²⁰²⁵⁾. It is a cave burrowed into the eastern wall of the land-crossing river, slightly north of the central castle.

The cave entrance is locked by a heavy stone door, attempting to interact with the door without meeting the correct requirements will only yield the text prompt: "Opens only for those who wield merit".

A Cord End is required to unlock the door and gain entrance to the cave inside, which can appear from the wooden crates only found within the churches of Limveld on absurdly rare occasions.

Once opened, the cave interior consists mostly of a gradually descending corridor, ending with what appears to be a giant colorless flower-bud, housing the seemingly petrified body of a bound, praying maiden, along with three Sacrificial Twigs to be acquired.

Notes

• Should Shifting Earth: The Crater be in effect, then this location will not be available.
• The cave is not dependent on the presence of the central castle, so should Shifting Earth: Noklateo, the Shrouded City be in effect, then the cave will still be in the same location as usual.
• The background song "The Ancients", will start to play while the player is inside the cave, taking priority over any other music track that could be playing during the expedition.
  • This song only appears in one other place in ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN ⁽²⁰²⁵⁾, which is in the ashen variant of the Roundtable Hold found after defeating the eight Nightlord, the Night Aspect.
