Stonesword Key is a consumable item in ELDEN RING: NIGHTREIGN. It is used to unlock Evergaols for a fight with a strong enemy.

Description

A sword-shaped stone key.

Breaks the seal on imp statues, but remains embedded in the statue after use, meaning it can only be used once as an item.

Think well before using one.

Can be purchased from a Township merchant for 6000 Runes.
Can be obtained from steel chests in various locations.
- In Forts that house a Lordsworn Captain or Abductor Virgin, the steel chest is located on the upper floor.
- In Forts that have a Golem Archer or Crystalian on the top, the steel chest is located in a side room accessible from the second floor.
- If a campsite has a crashed carriage, the steel chest in the carriage usually contains a Key.
- Occasionally obtained from Buried Treasure chests.
The Relic effect "Stonesword Key in possession at start of expedition" starts the Nightfarer with one Stonesword Key in their inventory. This effect cannot be stacked.
