Notes Notes

  • Has unique slashing heavy attacks and charged heavy attacks, a trait shared with the Estoc.
  • As the description indicates, this weapon sells for Runes 1,000 Runes, a considerable sum compared to how most weapons sell for Runes 100-300 Runes.
    • Due to the incredibly low drop chance farming for this weapon to sell it is ill-advised.
  • A decently long Thrusting Sword.
  • Is equally split between Strength and Dexterity for scaling for Cold Affinity and such, though for other purposes it's slightly stronger with Strength-scaling Affinities.
  • Average Attack Power.
  • Has the lowest Dexterity requirement among all Thrusting Swords, and a below average Strength requirement.
    • This makes it the most easily wieldable Thrusting Sword, as the only Origins that cannot wield it with their default Attributes is the Astrologer (needs 1 more point in Strength) and the Hero (needs 1 more points in Dexterity), and even then the Astrologer can wield it two-handed.

Trivia

  • Estoc is an Old French word, meaning "sword, its point", referring to the sword's sharpened tip compared to its blunt edges.
    • This type of sword is also known as a "tuck" in English.
