Onyx Lord's Greatsword is a melee armament found in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Greatsword forged from golden-hued meteoric ore. The blade conceals gravity-manipulating magic.

A weapon unique to the Onyx Lords, a race of ancients with skin of stone who were said to have risen to life when a meteor struck long ago.

Unique Skill: Onyx Lord's Repulsion

Thrust the armament into the ground to create a gravity well. In addition to dealing damage, this attack sends enemies flying away.

Acquisition

Defeat the Onyx Lord at the end of Sealed Tunnel, Capital Outskirts.

Notes

• Deals an extra 20% damage against Gravity-type enemies.
• The scaling values for Strength and Intelligence are actually the same, but since the base Physical damage that the former scales is greater than the base Magic damage that the latter scales, Strength will be much more valuable until it reaches 40. After that they are roughly equal until Strength reaches 80 (54 if two-handing) and Intelligence reaches 50.
• The skill is effectively an inverted Ash of War: Gravitas, throwing enemies away instead of bringing them closer.
• Cannot be buffed or infused with Ashes of War.

Trivia

• Patch 1.07 increased the skill's poise during casting and the repelling power of the attack.
• Patch 1.09 increased the weapon's scaling values.
