Patches' Crouch is a Gesture in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Animation

Locks the player character in place during the animation.

Quest Item: Limgrave

Obtained from Patches after he returns to Murkwater Cave from The Shaded Castle and surrenders the fight.

Can be missed if the player does not spare Patches or accidentally kills him.
This is a recurring gesture throughout FromSoftware's souls-like games.
ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾'s variant of the animation is also used in:
- Dark Souls (InsertDescriptionOfMinorDifferences)
- Dark Souls II (InsertDescriptionOfMinorDifferences)
- Dark Souls III (InsertDescriptionOfMinorDifferences)

Wasn't available prior to Version 1.04 since Patches questline wasn't finished until then, and he would simply disappear after The Shaded Castle encounter happened.
