The ancient dragons, who ruled in the prehistoric era before the Erdtree, would protect their lord as a wall of living rock. And so it is that the shape of the dragon has become symbolic of all manner of protections.
Acquisition
Obtained from a corpse on the north end of the western isolated platform in Crumbling Farum Azula. This area is only accessible via the waygate at the first of The Four Belfrys in western Liurnia of the Lakes, next to a message that reads "Crumbling Lands". After traveling through the waygate, drop down several platforms to reach a pair of Beastmen and drop from the northern edge of this platform to find the corpse.
