Preserving Boluses is a craftable and consumable tool in ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾.

Description

Scarlet boluses made of cave moss. Craftable item.

Alleviates scarlet rot buildup and cures rot aliment.

Scarlet rot accumulates gradually, coming into effect once the threshold is reached. Scarlet rot ailment greatly lowers HP in steady increments for a period.

Effect

• Cures Scarlet Rot and removes current buildup of it.

Notes

• If the player is still building Scarlet Rot due to rolling in a ground-based source of it, such as the Lake of Rot, it will continue to build for a period of time until Soap is used to clean off.

Acquisition

• Craftable after obtaining the Armorer's Cookbook [6] from a corpse on ledge just to the northwest of Siofra River Bank.
• Sold by the Nomadic Merchant near the Astray from Caelid Highway North site of grace.
