A great katana with the tempering pattern of its blade forever stained red with blood. Weapon of Rakshasa, who cuts down and devours.

A berserker's weapon used to endure enemy attacks and reply with one's full fury. When attacking, the wielder is less likely to stagger from counterattacks, but will also take increased damage.

Acquisition

Gained by defeating Rakshasa in the Eastern Nameless Mausoleum.

Notes

• Rakshasa's Great Katana cannot cannot be buffed by spells or any consumables.
• Rakshasa's Great Katana cannot cannot have its Ash of War or Affinity changed.
• When attacking the wielder gains Poise, but also suffers a -10% reduction in all Damage Negations.
  • Light attacks will grant 77 Poise (7.7 in PvE).
  • Charged heavy attacks will grant 154 Poise (15.4 in PvE).
  • Guard Counter attacks will grant 38.5 Poise (3.85 in PvE).
  • All other attacks will grant 57.75 Poise (5.775 in PvE).
• Rakshasa's Great Katana has a unique thrusting heavy attack.
• In terms of raw damage, Rakshasa's Great Katana has the highest base Attack Power out of all the Great Katanas.
