Two swords as a single armament. When two-handing, a straight sword engraved with golden flame will be carried in the left hand. Here, and here alone, were moon and fire ever together.

Acquisition

Trade: Roundtable Hold

• Trade the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight, gained by defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight, with Finger Reader Enia.
  • Alternatively, use one of the Wandering Mausoleums to duplicate one (can only obtain one per playthrough using either method).

Notes

• The innate skill, Moon-and-Fire Stance, is very versatile due to being a stance, functioning as a quick ranged attack with its light attack version and as a point blank blender with the heavy attack version.
• Though Strength and Dexterity scales the Physical Attack Power of both weapons, the Intelligence scales the Magic Attack Power only found on the right-hand weapon and the Faith scales the Fire Attack Power only found on the left-hand weapon.
  • Each weapon having separate elemental damage types also means that the actual Attack Power per sword is actually about 20-30% lower than the number in the in-game menu.
• If the Twin Blades is one-handed the held weapon varies: in the right-hand it will be the magic-infused Light Greatsword and in the left-hand it will be the fire-infused Straight Sword.
  • Despite looking like a Straight Sword, the fire sword functions mechanically like a Light Greatsword, meaning it will only dual wield if another Light Greatsword is held in the right hand.
  • If two separate Rellana's Twin Blades is equipped in the left and right hands both weapons will hold the magic Light Greatsword. This will also prevent dual wielding, with that button instead providing Straight Sword-like light attacks from the left-handed Twin Blade.
• The wide variety of scaling Attributes also provides an equally wide variety of potential builds: one can focus on both Strength and Dexterity to maximize the damage of the weapon itself, on both Intelligence and Faith to maximize the potential of the skill, a bit on both Strength and Dexterity and more on either Intelligence on Faith to increase the melee damage while also focusing on one of the parts of the skill, or on all four stats equally to increase both melee and skill damage.
  • 45 Strength and Dexterity with 16 Intelligence and Faith grants 455 Physical Attack Power and 192 Magic and Fire Attack Power, 16 Strength and Dexterity with 45 Intelligence and Faith grants 324 Physical Attack Power and 233 Magic and Fire Attack Power, 30 Strength and Dexterity with 45 Intelligence (with 16 Faith) or 45 Faith (with 16 Intelligence) grants 391 Physical Attack Power and either 233 Magic Attack Power and 192 Fire Attack Power or 192 Magic Attack Power and 233 Fire Attack Power, and 30 Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith grants 391 Physical Attack Power and 213 Magic and Fire Attack Power.
