Can also be found near trees on the surface.
Material used in crafting items.

The roots of the Greattree were once linked to those of the Erdtree, or so they say, and it is for this reason catacombs are built around Greattree roots.

Die Wurzeln des Großen Baumes bohren sich weit und breit durch die Erde des Zwischenlandes. Sie waren einst mit den Wurzeln des Erdenbaums verwunden, so heißt es zumindest.

As raízes da Grande Árvore se espalham por todo o solo das Terras Intermédias, que, pelo que dizem, já foram completamente entrelaçadas pelas raízes da Térvore.

Las raíces del Gran Árbol estaban antaño unidas a las del Árbol Áureo o, al menos, eso es lo que se dice. Por ese mismo motivo, se han construido catacumbas alrededor de las raíces del Gran Árbol.

• Can easily be farmed from the Warmaster's Shack site of grace; there are three Root Resin spawns beneath a tree directly next to the grace.
• Can be purchased in unlimited quantity from the Twin Maiden Husks after giving them the Greasemonger's Bell Bearing.

Trivia

• In the Japanese version of ELDEN RING ⁽²⁰²²⁾, the item description refers to "great" or "large tree roots" (大樹根, daijukon) once linked to the Erdtree, not its roots directly. There is no indication that "Greattree" is intended to be a single word or a proper noun.
