Ruined Forge of Starfall Past is a dungeon on the Scadu Altus.

Overview

A run-down forge on the southern Scadu Altus, strewn with smoldering and ruined weaponry. The entrance is located southwest of Moorth, found by following the Moorth Highway south and then turning to the west. It is also visible from the balcony in the Castle-Lord's Chamber at Castle Ensis.

The plain around the forge is littered with massive ruined columns. Like the other Ruined Forges in the Realm of Shadow, the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past does not have a boss encounter; to find the ultimate prize of the dungeon requires a little more care. This forge contains the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword, a powerful and massive blade fashioned from an arrowhead of the old gods.^[1]

In ancient times, the smithing that occurred here was a divine act; even the anvil was an altar.^[2] Though those times are past, Golem Smiths remain active and lava remains a threat.

The Ruined Forge of Starfall Past is a suitable place to harvest Gas Stones. They were likely used as fuel for the forges at one point, but they are now used to craft the Hefty Volcano Pot.^[3]^[4]
