Ruins of Unte SOTE.png is a location on the Scadu Altus.

Overview

A scorched and ruined Hornsent township in the watering hole of Shadow Keep. The area around the town is littered with the wreckages of Furnace Golems from Messmer's Crusade, though one still functions.

Much of the town is flooded and destroyed, but the keep within is relatively intact. The central building has a chest containing Giant Golden Arc, an incantation used by the Hornsent Inquisitors.[1] The inner courtyard of the town is initially blocked by a wrecked Furnace Golem, which must be restarted by throwing a Hefty Furnace Pot at it from one of the buildings sticking out of the water. When reactivated, the golem will begin attacking; it must then either be avoided or defeated to enter the central area.

Unte also contains one of the three Altars of Light and Darkness.

The nearest Sites of Grace are Site of Grace Castle Watering Hole and Site of Grace Recluses' River Upstream, found to the west and south of town respectively. The castle watering hole will naturally be encountered first as it is the only point of access to Unte and the rest of the Recluses' River.
